This year marks 10 years for this event and to commemorate that achievement of longevity we’re kicking this annual event up to 11! This year, we will open it up to public participation and encourage people to form up in teams of 4 to compete for the title of “Inaugural Toughest Mother Rucker. Like always, proceeds for this event will go towards “Operation: Leave the Streets Behind” a charity run by the Royal Canadian Legion that aims to help Veterans facing or experiencing homelessness.

When: August 25th to August 27th, 2023
Where: The Event will take in the Bruce County area and conclude in Wiarton, ON
What: This will be a 3 day exercise that will test your physical endurance
- Day 1:
- 35km Road March for time
- Minimum weight for the ruck is 35lbs (25lbs for women)
- Must bring your own kit
- Teams will be bunking at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch
- Breakfast and Dinner provided
- Will need to carry your bedroll
- We will transport your cot if you bring one
- Step off at 0830h
- Day 2:
- 35km Road March for Time

- Sit-ups (Max in 2 min)
- Sandbag Race
- Canoe PT
- Kims Games
- Rock Pick, and paint
- Tug-of-War
- Top Fundraiser
Day 3 will coincide with our family friendly V.E.T. Market in Wiarton so invite your family down to see the collection of Veteran Vendors and enjoy some barbecue and festivities while you and your team compete! And yes, they will be able to watch you.
Cost: $50/Member and each team must be 4 members to compete. (Price goes up in July)
